more plans

Pose for upcoming picture provided by 小林:

It's 2AM Friday and I'm drinking orange juice, listening to The Shipping News and sorting things out in my head. The Philly plan has been altered; I'm heading up there Saturday morning as opposed to Friday night. Why sacrifice your Friday evening traveling when you can do it when you'd normally be sleeping? That, and I couldn't get out of work early enough to actually catch my flight.

Anyway, July 23rd has been officially set as my departure date. I start work in 四日市on the 25th. This will give me approximately 5 seconds to breathe when I get there. That's all right; I'm used to not breathing. If they stick me in a company dorm, though, you are going to hear such a string of curses from me that it will corrupt future generations of your children. Because I've got to have something to complain about, right? Then I'll be moving back to the US (Ann Arbor) at the end of 2006 or early 2007, depending on what I'm working on.

So I've got that on my mind, plus the matter of scattering my possessions all across the US before I go, plus the Mexico trip which will probably chupar. But first I will enjoy meeting up with the Philly/NJ/DE crew for a weekend and having a good time. Let's not talk about work while I'm there! I want to know what you're all up to, since none of you seem to update your blogs as frequently/compulsively, you non-time-wasting bastards.

I finally started blogging. Now I just have to get people to go to it.

For your question, omae no namae wa, nan desu ka??

I have only one response. YAKASAKI!!

Assuming I correctly understood what you asked, that is.

oh, you understood, all right. I like to think that all my friends know a little second-hand Japanese, either from anime or shit I'm always yelling.

and for those not from Drexel, Jeff is an EE who used to headbutt people when they'd stop concentrating on their homework. He always knows what he's talking about, but sometimes has a hard time getting other people to understand what the fuck he's talking about. The blog seems to be a good medium for him so you don't have to see him turning red and foaming at the mouth when he's trying to make a point. You should check it out!

Company dorm, eh?

In Japan, don't all the business men sleep in drawer-like stuctures or closets or something along those lines? Or am I just remembering something I saw on TV?

Hey! I feel that I have been making a good effort to update my weblog. I will soon post movies, pictures and an interesting story about violent Canadians.

Also, as a person who just did that flight and started working at 8am the day after I arrived, I say haha!

I would like to point out that nad has not posted anything for one week. I would also like to quote from this post, ahem, "I want to know what you're all up to, since none of you seem to update your blogs as frequently/compulsively, you non-time-wasting bastards."

Dan, you are a bastard.

Dan fell off the face of the planet.

You didn't think that the gods would actually allow him to go and live in Japan for an extended period of time, did you?
