mi casa, 御宅
Here's my home for the next 9 days:

Pretty, eh? Lose the bed and it'll be my kind of room. I do like the lamps, though. Check out this lamp.

How artful. Almost makes me forget I'm rotting in El Paso for this work event in Juarez, Mexico until next Wednesday. Wait, no it doesn't.
But it's all good; up until this point it's been a great weekend. There was all kinds of crazy naked swimming Friday night and some mostly clothed dancing Saturday. It was momentous because it was the 2nd-to-last time I will see my friends in Nashville. And for some of them, that means ever. It's weird.
Anyway. I'll be on my feet doing a lot of Japanese-to-Spanish interpreting this wek, and not at my computer, so don't expect (m)any e-mails from me during the day .. though there's nothing to do at night here so maybe I'll "catch you" in the evenings. For now, buenas noches ...

That lamp... looks pretty jagged. Looks like... you could kill a man with it.

P.S. - Subtitle your posts, or provide me with a method of translating them.
Or just type in Engrish.
I am lazy.

Nice bed (and lamp)!
FYI: I bought a futon frame to go with the mattress you were gracious enough to lend me. So when you reclaim the mattress in two years, you'll get it back with interest.
I was thinking about what it would be like to work in Japan, today. I'd imagine it would be a lot like working, where I am now. Lots of hours and scowls from onlookers when you leave. Hopefully you'll be able to just leave once you put in your 10 hours a day. That way you can hit that club in Yokkaichi.
Anyway GANBAROU!!!
