hampton inn is fucking weird.

One thing I've noticed about the Hampton Inn the last few times I've stayed here is this weird thing where they put little slogans on everything, with the last word in bold. The welcome mat in the lobby says "welcome home." The coffee cups all say "some like it hot." One soap bar wrapper says "clean your body," the other says "clean your face." It's kind of annoying.

Anyway, Monday was pretty bad, but today I learned the secret to not having such a bad time working in Mexico: staying away from my 2 American coworkers. Today I spent most of my time out on the floor with the Mexicans and up in the corporate office with the Japanese. Way to stick to those stereotypes, guys!

Apparently in the sales department everyone speaks both Japanese and Spanish, which is useful for me because if I'm feeling lazy (which tends to happen around 8PM when we're still working) I can say things like "Pienso que los Detroit menbaa van a traer shinki na buhin este mokuyoubi," and it gets the message across.

Now it is time for 6-7 hours of broken sleep followed by 12 hours of uninterrupted work. This will be my schedule for the next week.

banzai para el trabajo.
