Thanks but no thanksgiving
Thursday I have a TV meeting and then a business trip. Enjoy your day off, bastards.
UPDATE
- 12/24: Arrive in Boston around 3PM, take Concord Trailways up to NH for some delicious Christmas Eve hors d'oeuvres, which I insist that you join me for. Egg .. nog?
- 12/27-29: Probable Philly trip (via Amtrak) to buy some fucking clothes and hang out with Mike T. and Yakasaki-san and possibly some other people, depending on their schedules.
- 12/31: Millenium Mile.
- New Year's Eve/Day: No idea! Anybody??
- 1/3: Allston.
- 1/4: Early morning flight back to Japan? What the fuck?
So I get 10 or so days total, and that's even using up 3 vacation days .. bunch of heathens in this country, let me tell you. The fact that the company's paying for my plane ticket helps quite a bit, and parallels the fact that I hate being at work all day but feel pretty good about having money in my bank account for a change. Then I feel bad about trading so much of my time for money, then I think about the fact that not having to worry about money leaves my mind open for other things, then I think about studying, and in studying I learn that man is mortal, so I put the poison as far from myself as possible, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.
Ahem.
Other than work, I've been doing the usual: running at 1AM or so every night, reading these damned addictive Haruki Murakami books, going to small-ass shows (last one had a DJ throwing in tracks by Sepultura, Carcass, At the Gates, and Slayer .. \m/), breaking up the occasional fight at a club (done by stepping in between and simply looking at both parties), hanging out with Sadahiro from work and Jacqui from .. Toronto, and listening to this insanely cool Oceansize album. Prog-rock GET!
I'd also like to mention that there are a couple of long-overdue personal projects I'm actually making some progress on, but that sort of claim probably bounces right off of you at this point. Boyoyoyoying!

Though I am not sure it is finalize I think that the cabin is in order. Of course it is difficult to get anyone to actually commit to anything around here.
Perhaps, you can watch us skate in a puddle again. Then run in the cold, cold rain. On a positive note someone purchased a new stereo... one that plays CDs. Imagine that!

I am not sure when the "hubby" is coming in, but if he flies in on the 24th anytime close to 3 pm, I should be able to give you a ride up to your 'rents. I'll keep you updated and I'll ask That Guy.
5:13 PM
"Hubby?" Did I miss something? And is That Guy okay, by the way? His last entry was somewhat mysterious. But if it works out so that I can join you on your way back up to NH, that would be the sweetest thing ever.
Xumbi: it was a metal show, so it made sense.
Mike: Yes.

Bathing Ape! I know just the place. As for Yamada the dog-food-buying Giant, I google his name every once in a while to see if he`s DJing any events, but it`s like he disappeared after 2003. Enigmatic!
That would rock if we could hang out for a bit. Where`s the Beastard going to be? What about Troy? Fudgamolie!!
7:36 PM
I'll be... around!?!
11:41 AM
wow, I figured you`d be in Florida, or Burkina Faso, or Milan, or Prague, or Buffalo New York. Mayhaps some hanging out be in order.
9:36 PM
baaaaaaa ...
thank you Jesus.
