Hmm
I type this to you at 2AM from the lovely Storia Hotel in Kameyama, aka Turtle Mountain, aka the middle of fucking nowhere, because I slept through my stop on the train after my Capoeira group`s New Year`s party. I don`t really have anything to say, so I will leave you with some inspirational graffiti:

doesn`t that make you feel good? What would be funny is if the kid who painted it got caught and arrested. "That`ll teach you to spread a positive message!" (punch)
also, my connection at home seems to be screwed up, and since it`s actually a wireless network I`m bumming off someone else, I can never count on it coming back, so if you`ve got a few words for me please send them to my work address or, even better, cell phone (danturk at docomo.ne.jp, though it can only handle a few sentences at a time for some reason) .. anyway, stuff is pretty fun over here, and I hope you`re all having a good time as well, if possible.
Buenas noches ..

actually I got that message when I checked my mail at a computer store the other day. One good thing about not having a connection at home (actually I`m still getting a strong wireless signal and it says I`m connected, but I can`t get any f#$%ing web pages to open) is it forces you to become more "resourceful" .. just like the old days between 2002-2003!
anyway, now Melinda can see that I carelessly dropped the hat she gave me in the snow next to your car, so that`s nice. as for the box of stuff, I don`t know if it has been sent or not, since I haven`t heard from my parents since I last saw them on the 2nd. I guess I`ll give them a call and ask.

she would have pieced it together. Melinda knows how the human mind works.
