Bad Transition

It's thunderstorming out now. I slept for 30 minutes this morning so I feel detached from my body. I didn't get to see High On Fire (even after buying the ticket) last night because the show got bumped up by an hour and a half, and there were too many opening bands, and if I'd stayed for HOF we wouldn't have made it back here in time. Other than that the weekend was awesome. Ran the usual Chicago errands (Metal Haven, comics store), bought lots of fun crap and added what will probably become a regular activity, chilling at the Hookah Bar. Met Aaron's friend Natalie, who is sweet to a similar degree that the sun is hot. Ate some Thai food, some Pho, some Chinese baked stuff and some Chicago deep-dish pizza ..

I'll think about that instead of the fact that practically everyone at work but me is leaving for Japan this weekend. Crap, now I'm thinking about that. Never mind.

8 more hours and I can go home and go to sleep!
