Palabras, Palabras, Palabras
"We must win[?]" What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
Oh wait, same thing as "we must not fail," "we must prevail," "we must not let them win," "we must not lose," "failure is not an option," and "we can't allow them to prevent us from failing." NOTHING. It's just some thing to say! It lacks any real meaning, but is used reflexively, like "w00t" or "omfg." Think about it.
How do you fail an objective that has no clear definition, anyway? What's the goal these days? Resurrect the 100,000 people we killed? I think that'd be a noble goal. We should work on that one for a while.
I don't know where I'm going with this. Yesterday I was feeling somewhat patriotic thinking about the anniversary of Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. Then, I remembered Little Boy and Fat Man. How appropriate, considering our country's leaders are a combination of the two -- little boys on the inside, fat men on the outside. Burn!!
UPDATE: Shit, I guess Rumsfeld couldn't be a true supervillain without such an unorthodox fighting technique.
